I work with linear Projects. Trains, Roads, Bridges. Most of these Software have recently added IFC support, but only for the schema 4x1 because it's the only one that supports alignments. Please, add it. It's very painful to go back to dwg just because IFC ist not completely supported.
Synchro Pro can import IFC4.
Bentley iTwins is working on a bridge to convert IFC to iModel which will include IFC 4x1. Synchro Pro can open iModels.
