When working with a client today, i found a bug in automatching resources to tasks. The version we are using for the project is SYNCHRO Pro 6.2.3.0 but this may also be occuring in the latest 4D build and should be checked. When executing Resources to Tasks Automatching with the task table set to 'Custom' view (vs. WBS), the automatching rule linked 50,000 Steel components to their tasks within 2 minutes time. When executing Resources to Tasks Automatching with the task table set to 'WBS' view (vs. Custom), the automatching rule ran for 5 hours plus for the same 50,000 Steel components and did not complete the process. This is when i asked the client to end the process and change the view display to 'Custom'. After he changed the display to custom, his also linked the 50,000 components within 2 minutes. I believe this bug should be looked at.
