It's very unproductive when all compound 3D objects separate to cell after exporting to .spx by Plug-in for Microstation or importing straght i.dgn/bim to Synchro. And any cell doesn't inherit properties (user fields) from compound 3D object
It's much more usefull to work with compound 3D objects in Synchro. To click on compound 3D object and see all its properties.
Thanks for submitting the idea. As we are still investigating the issue and it takes some time, there are a few workarounds.
If you are importing dgn directly into 4D Pro and do not want to break to cell, you can import with limiting 3d object tree by level and specificy a number.
If you are exporting from MicroStation plugin, and only want to work with the "compound" 3D, you can limit Resource tree in Resource Wizard.
These two workarounds do allow you to only work with enough details without having too many levels of objects, etc. to manage.
Hello!
Couldn't you kindly show me how to use this workaround on our 3D model?
We can't use this workarounds because there are different levels of 3D object tree in different layers (groups of 3D objects).
