Currently it is possible to highlight the elements when user selects the model or any node from the model tree/ hierarchy. However the model/ node will not be highlighted/ expanded if the element is selected from the model viewer. It would be better if the behavior in Control Model Viewer could be consistent with how it works in 4D Pro - selecting the 3d object in the viewer would select what's in the model tree (not supported), and selecting from the model tree also highlights the object(s) in the viewer (already support).
