Background:
In our MTR workflow practice, we have some compliance rules for contractor to follow, e.g. in Reports,
MTR project team should generate and submit the report for contractor to review.
After that, contractor should review the report and reply to us in comments whether they fully agree with the data/contents submitted on the report.
Finally, MTR project team will approve the report either upon receiving consent from contractor or no comment from them after 7 days of report generation.
Once the report is created for a single day, the above operational cycle needs to keep going every day, even when there is no site works or update in Activity/Event/Time & Usage.
Pain points:
Our project team finds tedious in repeating the above steps when there is a prolonged period of no site work/activity update.
Suggestion:
Explore the possibility to add a bulk create report function which can let us define the date range and add a checkbox declaring "No Site Works" when generating the report for the chosen period. This will include a simple declaration on each report indicating no site works conducted on that day.
May create a function for contractor to bulk accept the reports.
Eventually MTR project team can simply bulk approve the reports without going through the above cycle one by one.
