Have the capability to setup the default location for the QR code stamp in plan set module. Also have the capability to stamp all Plan sets at one time or selected range, draft or published status, etc.
Paul the default location could vary depending on the EOR or personal preference of the document controllers of the project. The current location SYNCHRO defaults to covers up the sheet numbers our plan sets. So, we are moving it to outside the title block border on the left-hand side. However, after doing so we soon realized that the location we chose may interfere with hole punches in plans were printed in the field and thus had to raise the QR code a bit higher on the left side. All this led us to realize a few things needed to happen: 1.) We need to have the ability to place a QR code on multiple sheets in a single action as moving it from the current default location on hundreds of individual sheets takes ours to perform and is not efficient. 2.) Need the ability to set the default location where the QR code is placed to avoid potential conflicts with information or printing capabilities. We envision in the future we will coordinate with our EORs to allow for the QR stamp location in their title block design. 3.) Also, we have to be able to move the QR Code after it is placed. Right now, the entire sheet has to be deleted and reimported back in to change the location of a QR code by placing a completely new one. I do like the idea you suggested by applying a code to selected sheets based on the location of the active sheet as long as the manner in which sheets is selected is easy to use and not clicking on individual sheets. While this would be ok for small selections it would create similar issues that we have now on large selections because it is inefficient. I am going to post another AHA idea that will help with selection as well. Hope this info helps explain what we are aiming at.

Wondering if a combination of the two requests above would satisfy your workflows. Apply unique QR Codes to a selection set of sheets, using the location selected for the placement on the active sheet?
