When a form is handed off and progressed in the workflow, there may only be a need for acknowledgment of receipt of the form and no other action required by some team members. Some members of the team need to act on the form, and others will just need to be notified of the form's progress and actions. In this case, the party responsible for the action would enter the form and edit appropriately. When only included as an "FYI", a checkbox or way to acknowledge receipt of the form/information without entering the form (right from the email notification) would be helpful. This acknowledgement could then be added to the official form for document control and record keeping purposes and provide record of who received the form and who acted on the form.
