We would like the ability to assign Form Permissions to Enterprise Roles even when no users have been assigned to those roles.
In SYNCHRO/BIC, Form Permissions cannot be assigned to an Enterprise Role unless at least one user is already associated with that role. From both an administrative and system‑design perspective, this presents challenges. In many scenarios, roles are intentionally created and defined in advance of user assignment, with permissions configured upfront as part of access planning. Under the current behavior, administrators must return later to update permissions after users are added, which introduces additional administrative effort and increases the potential for oversight or misconfiguration.
This limitation makes it more difficult to effectively plan, implement, and maintain role‑based access control as organizations grow and evolve.
